First introduced in 1968 as an all around training shoe, the Adidas Gazelle OG trainers featured a more streamlined profile along with innovative cushioning making it a hit with top athletes of the time.

The classic Gum Sole Adidas Samba Trainers in premium leather

When introduced in 1962, the Adidas Samba Trainers were the first training shoes developed for frozen pitches.  Eventually the Adidas Samba developed and established itself as the dominate indoor football shoe.  Since then the Adidas Samba trainers have evolved from its original purpose as a training shoe to a trainer seen on the fashion concious casuals and has gone on to become a modern day street classic in it’s own right.

Classic Adidas ROM Trainers

The legacy of the Adidas Rom Trainers goes back to the late 1950′s, when they were launched amongst the first all-round training shoes although more often than not its main purpose was used as a jogging shoe. 

The silhouette utilizes the classic colours of the previous Adidas Country but the Adidas  Rom trainers black is often considered more of a timeless classic design from the brands heritage.

These Adidas ROM trainers often proved popular with the Casuals in the  early 80′s especially in the North West of England where the shoe would often be “aquired” on football clubs away trips into Europe.

This seasonal reissue has a premium black leather upper with the classic white three stripes. The shoe features a,suede toe cap and a gum herringbone sole.

The Nike Cortez trainer was and still is a very popular trainer within the 80s casuals fraternity. This shoe when launched was another massive hit for Nike, again part of this was due to the materials, which were used to construct the Nike Cortez such as leather and nylon.

Nike Challenger Trainers

The classic Nike Challenger trainer originates back to the late 70s, early 80s.  This was one of Nike’s first real running shoes that helped to launch them into the world market for a sportswear manufacturer. The original feature of the Nike Challenger was the use of lightweight materials, which benefited the wearer. Using materials such as suede, mesh and nylon made the nike challenger trainer a popular hit.
